We are an Irish chemical management and distribution company and we work in partnership with some of the world’s largest companies and have been at the forefront of the chemical management industry since 1992.
We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a full time, contract basis. (12 months). The HR Business Partner will be based on site in the office and will manage the HR function and work strategically and in collaboration with all teams, managers and key stakeholders to build organisation and people capability. They will be responsible for shaping and implementing effective people strategies and activities within the organisation. This role forms part of the wider Compliance team, with one direct report and is initially offered on a specific purpose contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure new or updated strategic HR initiatives, services, processes or policies are communicated, planned and implemented effectively across the functions.
- Provide coaching and support to Line Managers on various initiatives, change programmes and day to day requirements.
- Manage the workforce planning requirements ensuring effective recruitment within all departments.
- Work in conjunction with the HR Generalist on all recruitment requirements to ensure the fulfilment of all vacancies in the required timeframe. Manage all recruitment campaigns working with hiring managers to determine their needs.
- Actively manage the Companies Wellness strategy and collaborate with the HR Generalist to implement initiatives.
- Provide advice and support to the Senior Management Team and Line Managers regarding employee relations and performance matters. Monitor and coordinate employee relations activities and work with HR Generalist to process and implement improvements.
- Manage the annual performance management process, bonus appraisals and year end salary reviews in collaboration with Line Managers and Head of Finance.
- Develop, lead and implement HR initiatives and projects incorporating best practice and fresh thinking to support the Company objectives.
- Manage all recruitment, induction, employee relations, absence, employee welfare and wellness initiatives.
- Review and update the HR policies and procedures in line with legislatives updates, continuous improvement initiatives and Company objectives in mind.
- Analysis of key HR & Training metrics and report up to Board level on quarterly basis and suggest actions for improvement.
- Work with Head of Finance on compensation & benefits initiatives as required.
Experience and competencies required:
- 3rd level qualification in HRM or equivalent.
- 3 – 5 experience working as a HR Business Partner in a result orientated environment.
- CIPD accredited an advantage.
- Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders and build effective and collaborative relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong experience and a thorough understanding of operational HR processes and practice.
- Proven ability to lead on and implement HR projects and initiatives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to €65,000.00 per year
