JOB SUMMARY
Lifehouse is currently seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team! This role provides administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed, including new hire onboarding, HRIS entry, and payroll/time & attendance.
In compliance with CDPH order from 9/28/2021, Lifehouse requires proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Accommodations based on medical and religious exemptions will be considered.
New Hire Onboarding
- Oversees new hire clearance process including background checks, DMV clearance, and pre-employment physicals.
- Conducts new hire orientations and provides a good and consistent onboarding experience for all new employees.
- Tracks and maintains current documentation and certifications for I-9, CPR & First Aid, COVID vaccination cards, Harassment Prevention, etc.
- Creates, runs, and distributes various reports as needed, including the bi-weekly new hire report and the monthly turnover report.
HRIS Maintenance
- Processes new hire input, status changes, terminations, and any other changes to employees' data in a timely manner and in compliance with applicable employment laws and Lifehouse policies. Coordinates all changes with management and employees. Ensures data confidentiality and integrity.
- Maintains digital employee files. Scans employee paperwork and ensures documents are filed in the appropriate places.
Payroll/Time & Attendance
- Audits online timecards for submission, approval, and possible errors. Works with managers to resolve discrepancies or problems. Manually calculates 24hr shifts and exceptions. Works closely with Payroll on various projects related to the HRIS.
Employee Relations
- Conducts and analyzes exit interviews and makes actionable recommendations based on data.
- Responds to employee inquiries and concerns and provides direction as appropriate.
- Assists in the planning and execution of employee events.
COVID Tracking
- Oversees COVID vaccination status tracking, COVID positive case reporting, and COVID exposure notices.
Project Management
- Coordinates trainings offered to staff by Lifehouse, including SLP trainings, philosophy, CPR & First Aid, and harassment prevention. Track completed trainings in HRIS and manage RSVPs for in person training.
- Administers monthly employee service award gift card program.
- Oversees updates to the intranet and website in coordination with the IT team.
- Within the HR team, works on projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)
- High school diploma or equivalent required, BA preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working in an HR, Administration, or Payroll position.
- HRIS / database experience required.
- Experience with time & attendance systems preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
