The Littelfuse HR organization is looking for an HR Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for talent that gets excited about helping the HR function evolve and improve. The Human Resources Manager serves as a key member of the Littelfuse US HR team, supporting two regional business units and 5 locations. This hands-on position is responsible for partnering with senior leaders of the Commercial Vehicle Business Unit as well as the Passenger Vehicle Business Unit to attract, develop, and engage our associates across the US. The position collaborates regularly with other HR leaders on the North America team to develop and drive HR initiatives, policies, and best practices. The role can be based in either Plainville, CT or Chicago, IL and will report to the global Sr Director Human Resources.
Position Responsibilities:
- Business Partnership: Responsible for building effective relationships with business leaders to ensure functional alignment with business needs and key initiatives; acting as a partner and coach for business leaders.
- Workforce planning & management: Support business leaders in achieving optimal staffing levels with the right skillsets; use data and insights to understand and plan for the capability and capacity that the business or function needs.
- Talent management: Partner with business leaders, apply an array of talent management solutions to attract, develop, and retain talent to support business objectives.
- Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging: Partner with business leaders, champion DIBs initiatives across the organization from culture and talent perspectives.
- Change management: Act as a change agent to the business and implement processes and approaches which prepare leaders and associates for ongoing change and transformation; consult on process improvement initiatives.
- Employee relations: Support leaders and managers at all level by providing advice and coaching in relation to performance issues, investigations, and other employee matters; ensure that the team’s work is compliant with local employment laws.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with the broader HR organization to identify continuous improvement opportunities that will enhance employee and manager experience as well as Human Resource process efficiency.
About You
- Bachelor’s or university degree
- At least 5 years of progressive Human Resources experiences with strong generalist background

- Resourcefulness to work across a matrix organization and identify ways to get results
- Strong communication skills & change agent
- Experience with manufacturing/industry talent and practices preferred.
