If you have answered yes to all of the above then I am delighted to announce that here at Osborne, we are currently hiring a HR & Recruitment Generalist - Permanent, on behalf of our client, an award winning, Irish, Family run, Home Garden & Lifestyle Centre who, through dedication, enthusiasm and passion for the business have established themselves as one of Irelands leading garden centres, located in Co.Carlow.

Location: Carlow – onsite role

Employment type: Full-time Permanent

Salary: €45-50k DOE

What specific responsibilities will you have?

HR Responsibilities & Duties:

· Provide professional and accurate HR advice and coaching to Line Managers and colleagues in a timely manner.

· Advise, coach and support line managers through various situations including investigations, grievances, probation reviews, disciplinaries - understanding the appropriate level of intervention required and ensuring adherence to employment law.

· Support and drive succession planning for key roles.

· Manage the induction process and plan/organize internal and external training workshops/programs that meet the needs of the business and trainee.

· Implement HR policies and procedures and ensure the Company proactively manages HR compliance and navigates legislative change.

· Ensure colleagues receive their terms and conditions of employment, handbooks, addendums, letters etc . Ensure HR records are maintained and updated correctly in line with GDPR, employment law and health & safety requirements.

· Compile various HR and payroll KPI reports- interpreting and analyzing data for use.

· Provide support with regards to aspects of health & safety across the business.

· Advise company on GDPR obligations, managing the processes and procedures regarding same to minimize risk.

· Gain commitment across all departments that will support an environment that encourages staff engagement. Analyze the effects of legislative change and ensure necessary compliance.

· Promote and coach on best practice in all aspects of HR across the practices.

· Engage with Line Managers and employees throughout all stages of the employee life cycle and proactively contribute to the effective and efficient running of the business.

· Liaise with payroll and provide support as required on any staff pay items linked to recruitment, internal promotions, leavers etc.

· Utilizing internal software applications for managing all staff documents and personal details.

· Updating databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave.

· Schedule Personal Development Reviews with department managers.

· Working with Operations Manager and department managers to ascertain all staff training and development needs.

· Formulating job descriptions in tandem with the department managers.

· Proactive approach to talent development internally and externally.

· Helping with various arrangements internally, from travel to processing expenses.

Recruitment Responsibilities and duties:

· Recruit exceptional talent to join the Arboretum growing team.

· Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to create the ideal candidate profile.

· Facilitate a pipeline of strong candidates for future needs.

· Screen CV's and qualify candidates: sell Arboretum as an employer of choice.

· Implement modern sourcing and recruitment methods.

· Innovate new ways to attract talent.

· Ensure the recruitment strategy at Arboretum is complementary to our strategic plan.

Keys Skills & Experience:
