HR Specialist, Corporate Staff Groups

The Job You Will Perform:


  • This position is administrative in nature and will provide Human Resources support for Corporate Staff Groups in the areas of staffing and recruitment, personnel records, benefits, training, compensation and employee relations.
  • This position will report to the Human Resources Manager, work alongside 7 HR team members, and will support the Corporate Staff Group (CSG) organization of approximately 700 employees.
  • Ensure workplace safety for self and others, through team participation and modeling appropriate behaviors at all times
  • Fulfill the role of the HRIS Business Organization Management Champion (BOMC) for the CSG team. This includes: creating or editing SAP positions, reporting structure changes, requesting vacancies for filling positions, and more.
  • Submit change requests for personnel updates and work closely with the Human Resources Transactions Team (HRTT) to insure all transactions are processed accurately
  • Serve as liaison to Employee Service Center for payroll and benefits issues for employees, or any other issues that require escalation
  • Prepare monthly reporting and other ad-hoc reports on an as needed basis for the CSG HR team (ex. Employee listings, Manager listings, Cross function/business moves, training records, turnover, etc.)
  • Create and maintain a calendar for the CSG HR team, including scheduling regularly team meetings and team training events
  • Manage the recognition program including birthdays and service anniversaries
  • Assist with college recruiting by coordination of logistics and serving as Single Point of Contact for ongoing communications
  • Assist with meeting preparation
  • Assist managers and employees with HR systems such as: Success Factors Employee and Manager Portals
  • Serve as the point of contact for new employees first day to make sure they are hired in the system, know where to report on day 1, registered for New Hire Orientation, and complete their I-9 documentation
  • Assist with the corporate new hire orientation program in Memphis logistics, such as, scheduling guest speakers, booking the training room, ordering giveaways, arranging the room with decor, and catering needs.
  • Assist with and/or deliver training as needed.
  • Work on projects with the CSG HR team.
  • Perform various administrative duties such as maintaining calendars, ordering office supplies and scheduling meetings.

The Skills You Will Bring:


  • BS/BA in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Self-starter, excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, sensitive to confidential information and ability to analyze data
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Power-Point, and Word)
  • SAP navigation skills preferred
  • Knowledge of the Human Resources function, policies and procedures is preferred.
  • Two to three years of HR experience, IP HR or Corporate HR experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities and deliver results for established deadlines
  • Strong analytical capability, with ability to identify irregularities in data and proactively address
