The Human Resource Administrator’s duties involve various support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads. An essential part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc) and take minutes
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Assists with the planning and execution of employee events
  • 5 years of experience in a business office environment in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Proven attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Persistent; able to make things happen and influence others
  • Organized and autonomous; able to work well under pressure and drive tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Proactive and foresighted to anticipate possible issues
  • Able to multi-task and set priorities according to business needs
  • Exceptional people skills, diplomacy, and customer service
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Prior experience in Human Resources a plus
  • Experience with HRIS systems a plus (PayCom)

Requirements

  • This position is a hybrid position that allows for one to two days of work from home per week
  • Must be able to sit for long periods
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen pounds
  • Background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Check.
