The Evergreen Packaging Raleigh Carton Converting Facility is located in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is also home to North Carolina State University and the state's capitol. Opened in 1953 and employing 120 team members. The facility prints and die cuts refrigerated gable top cartons for a variety of global brands found in retail groceries throughout the US. It also extrudes cupstock and foil board and has received the State of North Carolina Excellence Award for the last 20 years. The facility has also exceded 7 years without a lost time injury.

Job Description:
This role is based in Raleigh, NC - Relocation is Offered (Onsite daily)
This position serves as the Human Resources Business Partner for the Raleigh, NC Operations. The HR Business Partner works in conjunction with the HR Manager to support team members at the Raleigh facility. The position is responsible for supporting human resource practices and objectives for the Converting Operations, which will create business value through strategic management of the workforce while aligning Human Resources and the Business strategy. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager – Raleigh facility.
Specific Job Activities:
- Collaborate in a team-based environment; providing excellent, friendly and responsive customer service to team members and managers.
- Actively maintain HRIS database and personal files to ensure record compliance; accountable in following up with managers and/or team members for incomplete information.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Support the benefits administration process by maintaining working knowledge of the company’s benefit plans, lead open enrollment functions including team member education, communication and wellness activities.
- Proactively address workforce concerns by answering team member questions and/or facilitating resolution of team member concerns.
- Support all team member initiatives and practices including recruitment, talent, leadership development, retention, engagement, performance and talent management.
- Manage and maintain administration compliance of FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA in conjunction with the leave manager North America Packaging.
- Manage end-to-end hourly and salary recruiting including; recruiting partnering with the talent acquisition team.
- Lead and support the onboarding/exiting process to include; orientation, retention programs, exit interview and administration functions.
- Manage processes connected with payroll administration to confirm accurate and timely payrolls.
- Proactively conduct investigations, escalating issues/concerns and advising of conflict resolutions.
- Communicate changes in HR Related policies and benefit plans.
- Perform day to day administration and maintenance of all HR department’s system.
- Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned.
- Lead Administrative & Compliance HR Functions
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study
- Minimum of 3 years HRIS or HR support role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Preferred: 3 + years' experience with ADP Vantage and/or SAP,
- Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, determine appropriate solutions and resolve sensitive problems.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation; ability to provide service and remain focused even during emotionally charged circumstances.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communication with team members at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Organization and time management skills with expert attention to detail, ability to use independent judgement effectively.
- A highly proactive, solution-oriented approach to work and interactions.
- Strong team player skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization.
