Catholic Charities of Los Angeles’ corporate office is seeking an energetic, team oriented, hardworking individual to join our team.

The position will report to the Human Resources Director and serve as the main administrative support for the Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities:

Catholic Charities is currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and work closely with the HR team in responding to employee issues. Communication is an important part of the position, as the coordinator will be responsible for relaying information between departments, and also between employees, managers, and the HR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage projects.
  • Support the daily operations of the HR Department.
  • Respond to basic HR questions.
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with planning staff events.
  • Prepare for monthly new hire orientation.
  • Manage employee databases and records with MS Outlook.
  • Manage employee files and documents.
  • Ensure that all necessary steps are taken in the hiring process.
  • List and prioritize tasks associated with the job.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers on project details.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Two to four years of related experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or Administrative role.
  • Experience using HR Software and HRIS databases. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and advanced knowledge in various office software.
  • Knowledge of Federal/California State employment laws required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be skilled at time management, prioritization and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and task.
  • Ability to work as a positive, enthusiastic member of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
