Job Description:
Affinius Capital is looking for a talented Human Resources (“HR”) Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage various day-to-day tasks, while working on key initiatives in areas across HR. He/she will partner with existing team members to act as a resource to employees for HR related matters including payroll, benefits, and onboarding/offboarding processes globally. This role will provide someone the opportunity to join a successful firm during a high-growth period.
Essential Duties:
- Support various payroll processes to include payroll administration, resolutions, audits, and reporting.
- Act as a liaison to benefit providers and support various benefit programs by coordinating information to team members, supporting the enrollment process, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date files and records.
- Assist in the preparation of informational briefings and proposals to all levels of management on HR issues.
- Provide facilitation and coordination for various projects.
- Responsible for updating ServiceNow for changes to current employees. Update the Workforce Approval Systems (Performance Evaluations and Credit Cards).
- Manage and maintain all personnel files.
- Update and maintain organizational charts.
- Support the Head of HR with calendar management, as needed.
- Provide support to HR Coordinator and other HR team members as needed.
- Keep abreast of federal and state employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with current pertinent HR policies, procedures and practices.
- Conduct an annual review of various policies and documents to ensure they remain up to date.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or relevant field.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in benefits and/or payroll for a Human Resources department or in the real estate investment industry.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel.
- Experience with payroll software such as ADP, or other HRIS systems is strongly preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to be a team player.
- Strong technical competency and ability to think innovatively.
- Highly organized; strong follow-through skills.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Must have demonstrated ability to handle confidential records and documents and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Must be willing to work on-site and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or request and receive an authorized exemption)
- Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
