We are looking for a dynamic Bilingual (Spanish) Human Resource Generalist to join our team!


Office Location: Dixon, CA

Salary: $70-80k, DOE and Qualifications

FLSA Status: Exempt

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE:

Under minimal supervision of the CA Manufacturing Manager and Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with Subsidiary HR and payroll functions in supporting the Dixon plant. This position is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits communication, training, performance management, employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, Success Factors HRIS and employment law compliance and performs other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or
  • Five (5) years related Human Resources experience and/or training; and
  • PHR certification (Professional in Human Resources) preferred, APHR acceptable.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Communication Ability:
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals/documentation
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees/managers
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable.

Math Ability:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in order to make a sound judgement or recommendation.

Computer Skills:

  • Must be able to operate a personal computer and other various standard office equipment.
  • Must have a general working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience using an HRIS system i.e... Success Factors, SAP highly desirable, NOVAtime or KRONOS Dimensions.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Must possess a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to form professional connections with employees and managers in order to develop trust and confidence.

Other:

  • Must have a valid State Driver’s License

  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.
  • Frequently drive a personal vehicle to attend meetings or travel to a Company facility.

  • 5-10% local driving time required.
