Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible assisting with various employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations, facility policies and procedures, and the effective communication of the plans to the employees. Provides assistance in recruitment such as obtaining references, processing new hire paperwork and conduct interviews if necessary. Responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager with administering the facility’s employment, recruitment, placement and transfer programs. New employee orientation, benefits, workman’s compensation, FMLA, STD/LTD, Unemployment claims, and payroll in compliance with EEOC guidelines and facility policy; assists with the administration of the compensation program and associated policies.
