SECRETARY/BOOKKEEPER (12 month)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of college or technical school OR Three to five years of bookkeeping experience OR an equivalent combination of training/experience Possess a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
12 Month Position, Pay Grade 61, Regular State Benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes knowledge of accounting techniques and procedures.
- Sets up and maintains files and retrieves information from a varied number of subjects.
- Maintains payroll data for school staff.
- Maintains budgets/processes and purchase orders.
- Maintains a variety of ledgers and current balances on accounts.
- Codes data from a large number of coding sources.
- Traces and reconciles disagreements records.
- Locates, identifies, and gives out appropriate and accurate information.
- Assumes general office duties: compiling data, filing, answering the phone, copying.
- Assumes other duties as assigned by the principal.
- May be required by the principal to obtain a bus license.
