Job Summary

Our customer service team is a pillar of the entire organization’s effort to increase our customer’s satisfaction. We are looking for an HVAC Delivery Driver to assist with efficient deliveries of parts and equipment to team members. This position also works with the Warehouse Coordinator to perform other warehousing activities for the Heating & Air Conditioning division.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist installers with loading of equipment into truck each morning
• Assist with emptying/condensing yard trash cans and dumpsters daily
• Assist with keeping run clear for passing vehicles
• Assists with warehouse inventories as needed or when possible
• Follows operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
• Assists with the creation and tracking of job kits for install projects
• Works with Warehouse Coordinator to establish delivery routes and stops daily
• Drives to job sites for material drop off, and to vendors throughout San Diego County. Must be able to use a map or GPS to navigate the county
• Pick up will call orders and deliver to jobs
• Pick up will call orders and deliver to Anderson warehouse
• Ensures equipment deliveries and part pick-ups are accurate to original order, visually inspects for damage and notifies Warehouse Coordinator of any errors or challenges
• Deliver staged return items to applicable vendor
• Keeps delivery vehicle safe, organized and clean. Taking all precautions to secure payload
• Practices safe driving and uses a hands-free device for communication
• Ensure all HVAC vehicles are properly parked at the end of each day

Requirements:

• Must be over 18 years old
• Must have valid drivers license
• Field experience preferred but not necessary
• High school Diploma or equivalent
