  • An HVAC Technician with one or more years of experience including coverage of at least one season each of heating and cooling,

Role Responsibilities

Our Service Technicians perform routine maintenance and service repairs on HVAC systems:

  • Navigate and drive from service call to service call,
  • Speak directly to our multi-family and residential clients and be able to explain your technical findings in terms they can understand,
  • Test electrical currents or components for continuity using electrical test equipment,
  • Test pipe, tubing joints, or connections for leaks using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution,
  • Join pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form a complete circuit,
  • Reassemble and test equipment following repairs,
  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring,
  • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area,
  • Take pictures, log, and note service call findings for each call into our system,
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (you will be driving our company trucks),
  • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal),
  • We will conduct a state and national background check.

Preferred Skills

  • NATE certification a plus, but not required
  • Other technical training

Physical Requirements

  • Able to enter and exit company vehicles multiple times a day
  • Ability to operate hand tools
  • Able to regularly move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work in challenging temperatures and spaces including attics and flat roofs
  • Able to operate company cell phone for voice and data updates
