The HVAC Technician is responsible for wiring custom HVAC units. Including mounting electrical devices (transformers, drives, etc.) in a variety of locations and unit types while using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, drills, etc.). Typical units are wired in 10-12 hours. Processes for wiring HVAC units will be taught to a new Technician, but some electrical experience is required.

What's a normal workday look like?

• Install conduit and running wire between devices
• Utilization of various power and hand tools
• Working with electrical controls including but not limited to PLC’s, VFD’s, motor controls, and transformers
• Reading a control schematic (I.e. ladder diagram)
• Troubleshooting and thinking creatively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
