The National Treatment Purchase Fund “NTPF” is a corporate body with functions and responsibilities as set out under Statutory Instrument 179 - National Treatment Purchase Fund (Establishment) Order, 2004.

The Role

Working in the IT Operations and Support team to provide the following services:

• Helpdesk Support to all internal users
• Helpdesk Support to external stakeholders (hospitals, HSE etc) on NTPF provided services and systems
• Vendor liaison on issues and escalations
• Monitoring and delivering patches to desktops/laptops/Surface Pros
• Monitoring of various risk items as per IT Risk Register
• Management and control of Desktops PCs
• Management and control of Mobile devices (laptops and Surface Pros)
• Management and control of Microsoft servers
• Infrastructure – provision, support, patching, upgrade and disposal of desktops, printers, scanners, copiers and the maintenance of the associated Asset Register
• Application Support (Exchange, Exchequer Financials, Flexitime system, MSOffice, Teams, Dynamics365 etc.)
• Email Encryption set-up and activation of registration requests
• Identity management in both on-premise and Azure Active Directory
• Management and monitoring of internal Wi-Fi services
• ICT Project delivery as directed
• Procurement of devices and peripherals in accordance with procurement guidelines
• Ensuring that all ICT Documentation relating to this role is accurate, up to date and available
• Access doors log monitoring
• Maintain the Licence, Support and SLA database
• Working to agreed and appropriate KPI’s
