The National Treatment Purchase Fund “NTPF” is a corporate body with functions and responsibilities as set out under Statutory Instrument 179 - National Treatment Purchase Fund (Establishment) Order, 2004.

The Role

The Senior Projects Manager reports directly to the ICT Director. The duties of the office holder are to give the ICT Team such project management services of an advisory, supervisory and executive nature as may be required by the NTPF in the exercise and performance of any of its powers, functions and duties.

The current priorities include the following:

• Managing the delivery of the NTPF “Best Practice Reporting (BPR)” programme.
• Managing the delivery of ICT projects through the various stages of the project life cycle, from concept development to completion and implementation, with particular emphasis on projects within the BPR programme.
• Management and supervision of ICT developers, analysts and administrators who may be assigned as direct reports.
• Regular engagement with stakeholders and vendors.
• Issues Log – identification, resolution and escalation of project related issues.
• Risk management of projects in line with NTPF Risk Appetite.
• Prioritization of projects to ensure compatibility with the NTPF Corporate Strategy and annual Service Plan.
• Developing, and assisting in the development of, ICT strategies and related implementation programmes.
• Management and development of our Project Management application.
• Overseeing the appraisal of projects including reviews of business cases for projects.
• Managing the budget for ICT related projects, ensuring financial accountability for incurred expenditure, including procurement policy.
• Ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in all relevant project implementations.
• Preparing regular progress reports and taking part in other NTPF projects and initiatives as required.
