Job Summary: The In-Line Sewing Inspector is responsible for checking the quality of the product in the process of construction. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of garment construction and quality control procedures in a sewing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with customer Tec-Pack and fully understand all customer requirements.
2. Inspect, and test products, parts, and materials for conformity with specifications and standards.
3. Check partially sewn garments for defects while still inside the line.
4. Evaluate stitching, construction, attachments, fasteners, shading within the garment, pattern continuity, tapes, and linings.
5. Document any quality issues and report them to the Sewing Supervisor
6. Collaborate with the sewing team to identify and resolve quality problems in a timely manner.
7. Conduct routine quality checks on cut products to ensure cut quality is up to standard.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control procedures.
9. Train and mentor new employees on quality control procedures.
10. Maintain accurate records of all quality control inspections and findings.

Qualifications:
1. Garment construction knowledge is required. The ability to sew garments is a plus.
2. High school diploma is required, an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
3. 2-3 years of experience in a quality control role in a sewing environment.
4. Proficient in using quality control tools such as measurement gauges and tools.
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects quickly.
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
9. Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.
Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, reach, and lift to 25 pounds.

Compensation

• $18-$21
