Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for an Indirect Buyer with SAP and GMP experience. This is a contract opportunity with a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company located in Rockville MD.

Pay around $45/hour

The Indirect Buyer is responsible for utilizing SAP to assure on time delivery of indirect materials so that the GMP Manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient can meet agreed upon schedule. The Planner interacts with SAP with respect to all indirect materials and services procured at facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Procedures: Ensures compliance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP practices and updates and prepares, reviews, and maintains department procedures, SOP’s, WI’s, and training documents.
• Purchasing: Understand all processes related to Indirect Purchasing
• Reviews accuracy of M-ERP information data and updates master data as needed.
• Participates in cross functional project teams, leads department problem solve teams.
• Direct contact with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

• BS degree or equivalenting any of this areas Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or Finance.
• 1-3 years of experience
