Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
- Planning of works to ensure production schedules are achieved
- Electrical connections to light sockets, motors and distribution boards
- Electrical containment
- Electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Ensure that correct PPE is worn at all time on site
- Work closely with apprentices to ensure they receive adequate day to day training
- Participate in production of Safe Plan of Actions(SPA) for each task undertaken
- Assist in the preparation and execution of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Electrical trade qualification with experience in Data Centres / Industrial / Biopharma
- Must have valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling
- Working at Heights and Abrasive Wheel training would be an advantage
- Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings
- Safety focused
- A team player with excellent problem- solving skills
- Willingness to travel to different projects within Ireland
