As a Industrial Hygienist (Level 2) you will interpret analytic data to establish exposure risks for employees in an industrial work environment. In this role, you will:

• Conduct periodic monitoring utilizing IH sampling instruments
• Analyze work operations and process, materials,

equipment, and habits of employees

• Measure magnitude of exposure to workers of all environmental hazards by selecting or devising methods and instrumentation suitable for such measurements
• Present specific conclusions and recommendations to appropriate management groups

Candidate should have an understanding of Safety and Health programs, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Industrial Hygiene, and Radiation Safety

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 1-2 years professional experience in related field. (Industrial Hygiene, Safety, and or Health)

Desired Skills:

• Certified Industrial Hygienist
• Certified Safety Professional
• Certified Radiation Officer

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $70,500 - $132,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
