Printpack Bloomington is looking for a qualified Dual Craft (Mechanical & Electrical) Technician.

Primary Responsibilities
- Personally operate and maintain equipment in a safe and orderly manner
- Lead the team in the pursuit of a culture of safety as a foundational principle
- Collaborate with maintenance team, other departments and plant leadership to achieve overall plant objectives
- To provide routine and preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to production equipment
- Drive results in the key metrics of safety, waste, productivity and quality
- Promote the use of new policies and practices in support of continuous improvement
- Cultivate one's own skill of critical problem solving as well as that among the team members
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Must be able to work 12 hour night shift
- You must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
- Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience, with strong mechanical and pneumatic experience
- Able to climb and descend stairs to troubleshoot problems and service machines
- Must be multi skilled in all areas of industrial maintenance
- Able to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers
- Able to follow mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic layouts
- Able to weld effectively and perform basic metal fab projects
- Able to read electrical schematics
- Basic office computer software experience
- Able to engage in a team working collaboratively as well as make repairs independently
Additional skills and qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Metalworking skills are a plus
- HVAC experience a plus
- Prefer to have strong electrical skills including experience with PLCs and drives, troubleshooting control circuits
- Passion for driving results
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions
