We are looking for an experienced and skilled Industrial Technician to join our team in the walnut processing operation. As an Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all the machinery and equipment in the walnut processing plant, including robots and electronic sorters, is operating at optimal efficiency and is in good working condition. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as working with the production team to ensure that the processing line is running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment in the walnut processing operation, including robots and electronic sorters.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure it is operating at optimal levels.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform repairs, and order parts as necessary.
• Install and modify machinery and equipment to meet production needs, including programming and configuring robots and electronic sorters.
• Work with production team to coordinate maintenance and repairs during scheduled downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and equipment is in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certificate in industrial technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as robots and electronic sorters, control systems, pumps, other machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
