Infant and Toddler Teacher

Full-time/Part-time and On-Call positions now available with Infants and Toddlers at Easterseals in Falls Church, VA!

We are looking for excited and creative Infant and Toddler Teachers to encourage the healthy physical and cognitive development of the Infants and Toddlers in our care. You will encourage fine and large motor skills and sensory development utilizing our learning through play philosophy for children ages 6-weeks to 3-years-old.

As an Infant and Toddler Teacher, you will:

• Create and apply a variety of activities based on observations of the Infant and Toddler interests.
• Encourage Infants and Toddlers development of touch, sight, sound, smell and taste.
• Communicate daily with parents and keep the classroom safe for sensory exploration.

Requirements:

Successful completion of required background check

Meet minimum education and experience

High School Diploma or GED

CDA or 90-HR MSDE Certification

(preferred) Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education

(preferred) At least 6 months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool

Candidates must have received the initial series of the COVID-19 vaccine

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
