Summary
The Information Security Analyst will be a member of Augeo's security, risk and compliance team and will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Augeo Security Program. This includes:
- Understand and apply Information Security policies, standards, and processes to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability to information and information systems
- Execution of technical security management tasks and assignments
- Assist in Security incident analysis and response
- Contribute to the design of Augeo's security enterprise architecture
- Emphasis on Cloud Security Environments, specifically AWS
- Essential Functions
- Experience with Cloud-based Infrastructures and tooling (AWS, Oracle Cloud)
- Experience with both Linux and Windows environments
- Working knowledge with 2 or more security areas such as: penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, server hardening, patching, file integrity management, security monitoring
- Provide assistance with deployed security technologies (ex. Qualys, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, Okta) and support team members in remediation activities both within the security team and by working with other teams within Augeo.
- Assist in evidence gathering for Security Compliance audits (ex. SOC 2, PCI)
- Run scheduled and ad hoc security reports around Augeo's enterprise security posture.
- Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develops monitoring and visibility capabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.

- Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of IT/Security experience, or Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years of IT/Security experience.
- Good understanding of information security principles, standards, tools and methodologies.

- Demonstrated knowledge of technical security engineering practices.
- Familiar with SOC2 and PCI compliance requirements preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently and in teams.
- Experience working with JIRA preferred
- Must be flexible and able to function in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
