Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Information Specialist for University Enrollment Services. Reporting directly to the Associate University Director-Operations, the Information Specialist is in charge of managing and analyzing data, communicating processing issues to the Associate Director. The Information Specialist will assist in coordinating processing systems within the University Enrollment Services Office and streamlining the processing of admissions applications, financial aid documents and diplomas requests. This position is responsible for continually monitoring all incoming and outgoing undergraduate admissions applicant records and related reports for data integrity; correct any data errors, and coordinating and expediting the processing of applicant data. Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of two years’ work experience.

- At least 4 years working experience in a related processing environment at a major institution of Higher Education.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills are required. In addition, the following abilities are necessary: manage change; foster improvement through innovation; effectively communicate with users, management, and colleagues; prioritize; and manage and perform numerous and diversified requests with limited assistance in a demanding, fast-paced, and multi-tasked environment.
- Individual should be highly motivated and imaginative, with the ability to handle considerable and varied responsibilities; should be patient, tactful, courteous, and possess excellent communication skills.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply.
