Information & Technology Systems Manager
Job description
My client, a leading provider of Cloud and Security Solutions who have been providing services to large international clients for over a decade, are looking to recruit a Group Information & Technology Systems Manager for their security business.
The successful candidate will oversee the operation of their Primary Management Software Systems, to include multiple security processing systems including alarm, CCTV and other security processing systems.
An attractive package commensurate with the role and its responsibilities is available to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
· Operation and maintenance of the specialized security systems.
· Training of staff to use the systems in place
· Manage software and hardware suppliers in line with their contractual commitments
Required Skills / Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with IT systems in a commercial business environment.
· Experience of 1st line support of systems and ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and identify issues for escalation to external support if necessary and working with external support to resolve those
· Good communication skills and a professional manner
· Familiarity with a wide variety of systems, including Locally Hosted, Remotely Hosted and Web based systems
· Windows Desktop and Server knowledge
· Awareness of IP Networking
· Knowledge of Alarm automation
· SQL knowledge
· Provide 24/7 support of operational systems
· User Training
· Application Installation and Configuration
· Firewall configuration
Security industry experience is advantageous but applications from outside the industry will also be considered if you have an appropriate background in IT.
The back-office systems, emails and user management etc. are handled by an external provider. Please note this role will not include working from home as the role will be working from the head office and visiting the other sites in the Group.
Based in Dublin 18 (Sandyford, Dublin). Salary - open, dependent on candidate’s experience. Permanent Role.
