Job description
As Innovation and Technology Analyst, you will support the Innovation Department in building a broad network of meaningful relationships across the organization, sharing innovation best practices, participate in the process of identifying new solutions, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and creativity.
Scope of Position
This role will support multiple innovation and technology implementation projects across business functions from beginning to end with constant evaluation and feedback. Will require working with multiple business units and roles including project managers, project engineers, estimators, schedulers, superintendents, operations managers, and the executive team.
Innovation Program Responsibilities (50%)
In this role, you will work across the organization with direct supervision from the Innovation Program Manager to roll out a company-wide innovation platform and training program. This role has the potential for high-impact visibility with executive leadership.
- Support in the planning, facilitation, and content creation for internal and external facing innovation events, presentations, and trainings
- Create project timelines and schedules for innovation initiatives, including roll out and launch of an innovation platform and company-wide innovation challenges
- Engage employees at all levels of the organization in an innovative mindset by soliciting ideas or problem statements for innovation, understanding barriers to adoption of innovation, and proposing solutions
- Create innovation content and a release schedule, including written, podcasts, images, online trainings, webinars, and instructional videos
Emerging Technology Responsibilities (50%)
STOBG Emerging Technology is a multifaceted program focused on driving accessibility to the industry’s cutting-edge technologies at all levels of our organization. Technology Scouting - Evaluation, Planning, and Execution
- Monitoring and moderating emerging technology platform, escalating key findings
- Participate in Emerging Technology Group
- Conduct focus groups and initial interviews for evaluating emerging technologies*
- Manage and prioritize inbound requests for new technology*
- Planning and maintaining technical work log and providing status reports*
- Facilitate workshops for product feedback and feature development with established partner vendors*
- Ensure all ET relevant findings are gathered and summarized in the tech scouting tool
Technology Integration and Socialization
- Drive internal and external awareness of technologies through creation of educational content, including social media posts, blog updates, videos, and whitepapers
- Support and promote the innovation team principles of collaboration, openness, and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in event production, including organizing and facilitating workshops, lunch & learns, and tech expos
Education/Experience
- 1-3 years of industry experience
- Experience driving new technology or projects at a company or project level
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with focus on business or project management, or Bachelor’s degree in AEC Technology (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) relevant field.

Salary Range: $85K - $110K
