Currently seeking a Sales Support Specialist in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full-time, first shift position offering $20/hour.
Job Duties:
- Provides daily comprehensive support to sales representatives and managers by resolving internal/external service issues, and providing accurate, timely and sensitive responses.
- Initiates actions to resolve customer concerns and issues through communication with internal staff.
- Works with and maintains a strong and effective partnership with the sales team to ensure satisfactory resolution of customer concerns and establishing service priorities when necessary.
- Uses time effectively, prioritizing work to meet deadlines while working with colleagues in an efficient and thoughtful manner.
- Attends all sales meetings.
- Provides back up to sales representatives when required.
- Completes general office duties, to include, but not limited to, data entry, filing and support activities as requested or assigned by the Sales Manager.
- Reviews and revises the Sales Order Tracking Spreadsheet once per month, by deleting completed orders that have been closed and shipped.
- Provides list of orders on credit hold at each sales meeting.
- Answers incoming sales calls and transfers calls within the Sales Department, by routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representatives for further development and closing.
- Processes and inputs all new sales leads in the sales-lead-tracking-spreadsheet.
- Assists in managing correspondence between the sales team and their clients, when necessary and in the most professional manner.
- Works with offsite sales representatives to print and manage in-house sales order documents, including the distribution of these documents, as well as the filing.
- Assists customers in resolving sales related issues in a timely manner.
- When necessary, escalates issues to managers or other departments for resolution.
- Reviews pending orders that are within 1 to 2 weeks of the scheduled shipment date, to make sure orders are on track and on time, by communicating with the Planning Department.
- Continuing Education is gained by learning about the products and processes, and by keeping up with any new trends in our industry.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or six months related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Punctual.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Should be customer service driven.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Able to multi-task.
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
