Role Purpose
This role is responsible for leading a team of 10-12 National Account Managers, across multiple corporate segments, tasked with defending and growing existing revenue across a subset of multinational corporate accounts. Working across internal and external stakeholders both locally and globally to identify and win opportunity, ensuring that the team achieve the Vodafone Business Digital Sales KPI’s and that focus is placed on the coaching and development of team members. You will be responsible for delivering against sales targets, ensuring systematic pipeline build and ensuring customers and prospects have positive experiences in their interactions with Vodafone. In this role you will be expected to work closely with our Sales Operations team to ensure regular reporting and stakeholder engagement, and you will need to be proficient of and comfortable developing people internally to the next level in their career. A superior knowledge and understanding of the business segment is essential, with the ability to devise and deliver on specific plans and initiatives throughout the year.
As the new leader of the team, you will need to have an immediate impact. Key areas you will need to drive for the business are:
- Increasing pipeline cover to x 4 for the year
- Build credibility with our stakeholders, customer base, and improv customer experience
- Drive effective white spacing across the base
- Improve contacts and reach into account base
- Ensure the team are up skilled and enabled to sell
- Recover performance back to target
With us you will:
- Support the Regional Lead to drive performance & build a supportive & collaborative Sales culture.
- Set & track sales targets and KPI’s
- Co Ordinate Sales projects to meet deadlines
- Execute sales analysis, prepare reports, and suggest improvements
- Assist in the successful on-boarding of new Sales colleagues.
- Oversee work for quality & guideline compliance.
- Communicate deadlines & sales goals to team members.
- Prepare & execute team meetings to update members on best practices & continuing expectations.
- Lead team in times of Management absenteeism.
- Present to stakeholders & senior Management within Digital Sales when required.
- Promote a positive environment & atmosphere with the right attitude on a daily basis.
- Competently devise recovery plans & promote an environment of positive communication to achieve results.
- Understand the layers of management internally & build relationships where applicable.
- Deliver QBR / MTD reviews if required.
- Train & develop Team Leaders & Team Managers to the next level with the Regional Lead.
