You will become part of the EMEA Inside Sales Team tasked with securing new business across a broad range of organisations that sell online and instore.

What you need to know about the role:



In this exciting role, you will be responsible for inbound telephone sales, selling PayPal’s extensive portfolio of customised payment solutions to meet our merchant’s business needs. You will need to be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, have the ability to fully articulate the PayPal value proposition to prospective merchants and lead throughout the sales cycle.

Your way to impact:

  • Managing pipelines of existing and prospective client merchants to assist them in developing their ePayments solution strategy
  • To hit financial monthly targets based on revenue generated by those new merchants you on-board
  • keeping clients ahead of the game by upgrading their solutions with the latest PayPal product suite portfolio of customised payment solutions Supporting the technical integration of PayPal in cooperation with the Integration Department
  • Guiding the merchant through the PayPal Compliance process before going live
  • Handing over the newly acquired customer to the Existing Customer Management
  • Working with fast-growing merchants seeking guidance on how to take their business to the next level
  • Navigating all aspects of B2B sales processes and deliver a value-based sales proposition to decision-makers

Your Day to Day:

  • Managing Inbound Telephone sale of PayPal products to small and medium sized businesses (SMB)
  • Supporting customers who contact through Phone, Live Chat, Web Forms and Product applications
  • Acquisition of new merchants as well as cross-selling and upselling to existing customers
  • Counselling merchants with regards to our products and improvements
  • Demonstrating a strong ability to close the deal while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Salesforce pipeline and report management
  • Building strong working relationships with internal PayPal Stakeholders (Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Product, Risk, and Integration) to enable an outstanding merchant experience
  • Gaining wide professional knowledge of the payments industry sector and demonstrate benefits to the merchant through a consultative selling approach

What you need to bring:

  • Fluency in English plus any German, Dutch or Swedish
  • A self-driven, dedicated, and motivated individual who can drive revenue growth, whilst creating the basis for long-term client relationships
  • 1 year + experience in Sales or Telesales in an online or financial services or e-commerce environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office; Salesforce proficiency is desirable
  • Sales experience in customer acquisition as well as cross and up selling
  • Track record in reaching revenue targets in the small/medium business area
  • Excellent communicative skills
  • Good organization and self-motivation skills
  • Excitement and interest for online payment systems and e-commerce
