POSITION SUMMARY
The primary function of this position is to provide phone-based sales and customer support to increase sales and revenue for the Distribution Center. Inside Sales Specialist aid in the support, coordination and administration efforts necessary to service our customers. Daily functions will include taking and processing customer orders, processing quotes, and making outbound calls to new and current customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Act as a key point of contact for various customer facing activities to include: sales quoting, managing orders, and order confirmations
- Ability to be a Hunter and make outbound sales / cold calls
- Ability to learn and sell our "Core 4" product categories - Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum (Drywall), and Siding
- Ability to build relationships with new and existing customers
- Be a Champion of the Customer Experience
- “Fill The Truck” – Sell the whole package accessories
- Educate and advise customers of through deep market knowledge, current market trends, changes and challenges – become a trusted advisor
- Acquire knowledge of the market conditions and competitive landscape. Use this knowledge and customer relationships in dealing with competitive situations and negotiations. Sell at the highest possible price.
- Interact daily with TSM strategizing on how to grow market share in their combined territories
- Prepare & submit weekly Pulse Reports
- Other responsibilities as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required
- Associate degree preferred
- 1 to 2 years of sales experience with demonstrated success including making outbound calls/cold calling
- Experience in the building products industry helpful
- Up to 10% Travel
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass drug test and background verifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time
