Location: This role will be located in Wilmington, DE

Daily Hours: This role is Monday through Friday and daily hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The candidate must be available to work these hours daily and be reliable in attendance.

Responsibilities

As an Instructional Support Specialist you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need

You will increase your knowledge and improve your skills related to behavior intervention, functional assessment and collaboration with a team that is inclusive and individualized

Assist in establishing classroom environments that is conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors

Responsible for the children's welfare, safety, and location at all times, including during arrival and dismissal

Work with the Special Education Teachers and other school staff to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups. Perform ongoing data collection and record keeping as directed.

All staff must provide evidence of criminal background checks, child protection registry checks, and current PPD test results as required by the State of Delaware.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
