Major/Essential FunctionsProvides clinical services and teaching of diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology.
Interprets x-rays in all modalities of diagnostic radiology.
Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects as requested or assigned by department chair.
Lectures and hold conferences and participate in related meetings and school functions.
Initiates or participates in scholarly activities of the Department of Radiology.
Participates in committees and other administrative duties, as assigned by the Chair.
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations.
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. Degree.
Texas Medical Licensure, or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas.
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in diagnostic radiology.
Successful completion of one year of training in a neuroradiology fellowship program., or meeting all requirements for the American Board of Radiology's Alternate Pathway to Sub-specialty Certification in neuroradiology.
Training and experience in all imaging modalities including plain film, CT, US, and MRI.
Preferred Qualifications
Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Board certification in Neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Regional or emerging national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher.
