• Coordinate and communicate with various parties including state regulatory agencies, courts, agents, producers, and underwriting staff to support our underwriting efforts and take appropriate action within designated timeframes
• Ensure quality and timeliness of response to agent and customers inquiries
• Ensure electronic files are accurately maintained per company and regulatory guidelines
• Retrieve and review property valuation reports to aid in the underwriting process
• Prepare agent contracts
• Develop personal industry skills and knowledge to meet the company’s culture and expectations of continuous learning and career enrichment
• Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant bail laws in the markets we serve
• Ability to interact collaboratively and collegially with colleagues, agents, and customers in a professional manner

• Minimum high school diploma/GED required
• Two years of Administrative Assistant experience
• Insurance or Criminal Justice background a plus
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of products and ability to learn new software as needed
• Excellent interpersonal decision-making and analytical skills required
• Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks with great attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and independently as required
• Possess or able to obtain a Michigan Notary
