Assignment Information
Job Title: Insurance Verifier / Financial Coordinator
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033
Target start date: ASAP
Duration of Assignment: 3 to 6 months if the extension is approved
Work hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, M-F (30 minute lunch)

1. Insurance knowledge: Commercial and Public
2. Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking
3. Independent worker / Self-management
Top 3 Preferred Skills:
1. Quick learner
2. Computer Savvy (we use many online portals and 2 EMRs) – knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel
3. Good Oral and Communicational skills
Top 3- 5 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Obtain transplant benefits
2. Submit authorization request via electronic fax or using an online portal
3. Follow up on authorization requests and communicate with a clinical team or schedulers, other tasks will apply to calling patients to obtain new ins or update insurance in 2 EMRs and communicate with the clinical team.
Minimum Education: AA or Bachelor preferred / if they have a minimum of 2yrs transplant financial experience can replace education requirements
