Four Corners Detox Facility (FCDRC) is searching for the right candidate who believes that everyone deserves access to quality, evidence-based substance use treatment and that recovery is possible. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Intake Coordinator performs various tasks and duties including, but not limited to, taking referral phone calls, completing screenings, scheduling admissions, following up with scheduled clients, and beginning the Intake Process. The Intake Coordinator ensures that patients at Four Corners Detox Recovery Center (FCDRC) receive the care they need and that all pertinent information has been recorded correctly. Speaking with and collecting information from clients and referral sources requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Special Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in preparing, maintaining, and overseeing client records.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency or crisis situations.
• Computer experience, knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to learn MS Office and electronic medical records system (EHR).
• Ability to solve unexpected problems as they arise while considering liability, precedence, programmatic implications, and other possible future impacts on the program, services, or organization.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in detox and rehab facility, social services, or related Human Services field.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Must have and maintain a valid NM Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• In the case of a recovering person, he/she must have successfully maintained a two (2) year period of abstinence from alcohol and other drugs.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Bi-lingual/bi-cultural (English/Navajo) preferred.
