Job Description
- Perform account maintenance and sales growth of established customers, as well as for defined small and/or dormant accounts
- Lead training and mentoring for Sales Trainees within the Sales Development Program
- Perform outbound sales calls (cold calling) to customers in target market segments, qualifies the contacts and assigns to the appropriate staff or initiates the selling process
- Pursue and manage assigned inbound sales leads from marketing, trade-shows, and websites to appropriate sales resources
- Manage accurate rolling forecast and annual plan for your assigned accounts.
- Creation of customer profiles which outline platform and potential business opportunities, summaries of sales activities, customer communications and competitive data information
- Identify and present Amcor products, pricing and service plans to gain competitive advantage/close new business by introducing new and existing products
- Provide timely pricing updates to customers and prospects.
- Provide progression/efficiency reports regarding sales quota (salesforce.com), moving the dots, and new business development, as well as establish an account tracking/routing call log mechanism to manage ongoing sales per customer and the negotiation of sales developments
- Troubleshoot and generate commercial scenarios specific to plant footprint: short run pricing, tooling and spec protocol for use in sales presentations and proposals
- Maintain positive, professional, and effective interactive relationships with customer service, pricing, marketing, R&D, graphics, technical service, demand planning, and sales management

- Experience with projects involving new packaging materials, formats, and filling equipment
- Some experience in sales and/or service either B2B or consumer

- Some understanding of sales processes and/or selling systems
- Good understanding of pricing, costing and basic business finance
