Job Description

Intel Mask Operations (IMO) in Santa Clara is looking for an engineer to work in one of the most advanced semiconductor clean room facilities in the world.

Module or Yield Engineers are responsible for the development and execution of current and next generation manufacturing processes. They enable manufacture of innovative device architectures, demonstrate manufacturing viability of complex novel processes, and execute the high-volume lines that manufacture photomasks.

As IMO Engineer responsibilities include, but are not be limited to:

• Design and execute experiments and analyze data necessary to develop processes that meet engineering specifications for manufacturing that include safety protocols, automation, facility and supply chain in addition to device performance and yield.

• Work with industry partners and equipment suppliers to develop and implement equipment, identify equipment capability shortcomings, propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues, and implement preventative maintenance needed for stable process lines.

• Install and qualify high volume manufacturing capacity at the IMO site to HVM volumes and operate the manufacturing line in the manufacturing of photomasks.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a PhD Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or Chemistry or a related Scientific STEM field of study, expect the required degree by July 2023.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
