WorkFit Medical, LLC is seeking a part-time or per-diem certified Radiology Technician to work a Small Hospital in Dansville, New York. Hours of operations are 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday - Friday. No weekends. The Interventional Radiology Technician will be the main Radiology Technician during their shift and support a variety of patient care services in the hopsital setting. Our company is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and skilled Registered Radiology Technician who will provide the highest standard of care in X-Ray.

Pay rate: $75 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Must follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation to protect themselves, their patients, and their coworkers from unnecessary exposure
• Operate the Radiology equipment to acquire a variety of imaging results
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in work assignments
• Help patients transfer to the exam table and ensuring adequate patient immobilization to perform exams
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and working area
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Job Specific Requirements:

• Requires New York State License as a Radiology Technologist
• Maintaining superior diagnostic imaging in accordance with standardized procedures
• Excellent patient and people skills
• Ability to maintain a great knowledge in human anatomy and cross section anatomy, proper positioning skills, and appropriate utilization of protocols and scanning techniques
