Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Inventory and Logistics Specialist for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Pharmaceutical Services clients in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overlooking all logistical activities.
• Work and coordinates with the shipping department to ensure timely completion of S&R activities.
• Pull material to restock the lab supply and help identify and material shortages in advance
• Responsible for registering, logging and tracking all the incoming/outgoing components in the system
• Work with Finance, Logistics, Accounting and Import-export team to resolve any issues on behalf of the team in these departments
• Take ownership of the inventory storage, maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
• Responsible for transfer of goods within the team
• Move components through various stages of the supply chain to obtain the top level assembly on time for the lab supply
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as per the team's needs

Required Skills:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in inventory/logistics management
• Bachelor's degree Required (business operations, logistics, mathematics, or related field preferred)
• Must be comfortable working with Google Suite, MS Excel.
• Must have great communication skills and be able to work cross functionally with various teams
• Strong sense of time management and must be able to multitask
• Must be highly motivated and a quick learner
• Able to work independently and within a team

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience with procurement

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
