POSITION SUMMARY
The overall purpose of this position is assist the CFO in inventory controls and warehouse coordination while working department managers.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Coordinate with AR/AP posting assemblies
· Coordinate with Production Manager creating weekly projection sheets
· Confirm inventory when planning purchases
· Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving Manager schedule for pick-up of raw materials
· Create projection sheets based on Production Manager’s sheets for advance purchases
· Calculate appropriate weekly quantities to be purchased
· Determine correct delivery dates based on production and warehouse space by coordinating with Production Manager and Shipping and Receiving Manager
· Create P.O.’s with all information above and send to vendors
· Contact vendors if product is not delivered as scheduled
· Find alternate vendors/suppliers if product is unavailable
· Coordinate with inventory team to ensure timely submission of accurate physical inventory
· Post inventory adjustments to QuickBooks
· Coordinate with Production Manager and Shipping & Receiving Manager of any inventory recounts due to material differences/discrepancies
· Generate customer inventory detail reports and send to customers
Skills:
· Intermediate skill level in MS Office, especially Excel
· QuickBooks experience preferred
· Good counting and mathematical skill
· Good organization and prioritizing skills
· Good business communication skills
Qualities
· Have 5 years experience in related job responsibilities
· Be very detail-oriented
· Have a good understanding of food manufacturing process
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
· Ability to work well with others
· Must have a positive “can do” mindset
· Have a good work-ethic and a sense of urgency
