Inventory Management and Logistics Operations organization is responsible for the strategic planning placement and usage of inventory, manage turns, identify & repurpose aging inventory and meet or exceed targets for all areas of data center materials. Develop and execute effective inventory plans across the entire product lifecycle, while supporting a global multi-echelon supply chain. Define, scale and implement processes to use, right size and repurpose inventory.In addition, the candidate will be evaluating key opportunities through collecting & analyzing data, and providing recommendations across XFNs, including, but not limited to spares planning, asset management, logistics etc. The candidate will be a part of the team of innovators, optimizers and problem solvers who are constantly seeking opportunities to move the business forward. This role will collaborate with other business functions to identify and execute operational strategies to meet Metas growing needs.Lastly, this role has high visibility and will be responsible for driving large scale transformations and interfacing with leadership.


Inventory Management Lead Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all aspects of inventory operations management, including , objectives, forward facing vision and initiatives
  • Develop standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory efficiency. This includes storage locations, inventory movements and transfers, CIP, impairment, final disposition and retirements
  • Lead inventory placement and scheduling. Partner with Fulfillment , Logistics, Warehousing and other partners to oversee, standardize and improve inbound and outbound material process
  • Enable reverse supply chain optimization by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Support operations, vendor management, RMA process improvement and returns experience. Right size Decomms to maximize Inventory Availability
  • Develop, communicate and lead execution of comprehensive inventory placement across the material lifecycle. Define and align XFN partners around inventory targets, metrics / targets and financial goals
  • Support developing and implementing tools, processes and systems for tracking, analyzing, and reporting inventory. Enable effective operational performance & execution across Meta’s multi-echelon supply chain
  • Collaborate with XFN teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize capabilities and develop / scale operational management practices



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management or in finance. Other technical education, experience and degrees will be considered based on professional experience
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and recommend solutions. Negotiate and compromise in a professional manner as needed
  • 10 years of business experience working with supply chain, inventory management or finance
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to identify, manage and solve complex problems
  • Ability to work with cross-functional groups and teams
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Travel within EMEA and to APAC (10%)



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in management, operations or supply chain
  • In-depth understanding of inventory management and planning systems and tools
  • Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and requirement alignment
