THE ROLE: IT Administrator

Job Summary:

Join our Group IT team based in Dublin. This role will be tasked with taking ownership of our MDM project, monitoring our internal ticketing system and managing our mobile phone vendors. The position offers exposure to Microsoft & Apple workstations as well as datacenter technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling hardware ordering and delivery
  • Managing Cell Phone distribution for new hire and for terminations
  • Managing License purchasing and provisioning for users
  • Perform and support IT projects as needed including new Workstation MDM imitative
  • Actively monitor the Ticket System and work with groups assigned to make sure problem resolution is coordinated and completed timely.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize end-user issues and concerns to ensure they are resolved appropriately, working with other teams and departments if escalation is necessary

Required Skills:

  • Highly proficient with supporting Microsoft and Apple environments, including Windows 10 and OS X operating systems.
  • Experience with Datacenter technologies including servers and storage to assist highly technical teams when needed in both Ireland datacenters
  • Extensive customer experience along with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of ITL Framework standards and methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently when assigned a task and follow it through to completion.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Additional Desired Skills:

  • ITIL Foundations are a plus
  • Detail and process oriented individual.
  • Resourceful and highly self-motivated
  • Ability to work and prioritize well in a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere

Education and Experience:

  • Ordinary Bachelor Degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military experience
  • 3+ years' work experience in Service Desk or IT Admin role/equivalent
