JD Edwards IT Business Analyst 2

The IT Business Analyst (BA) will focus on providing support across the Silgan enterprise for JD Edwards Enterprise One Sales and Distribution modules. The BA serves as a liaison between the business and the development team and manages multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables while providing business analysis to develop new applications or maintain existing ones. This position requires significant time outside the office and a willingness to travel domestically by up to 30% annually.

What you’ll do:

• Support the JD Edwards end-user community throughout the Silgan enterprise.
• Gather requirements from end-users regarding application technology issues and queries.
• Respond to customer needs with a sense of urgency and provides high attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot issues with the Manufacturing modules including Shop Floor, MRP, PDM
• Lead implementation BA on projects for Manufacturing modules
• Configure Manufacturing modules for implementations including related DMAAI’s.
• Conduct training sessions for new systems or refresher courses on current systems.
• Execute testing scenarios for new or changed applications or programs.
• Prepare documentation.
• Creates and maintains reports using Enterprise One tools.
• Travel to Silgan facilities to provide on-site expertise during implementations.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience supporting JD Edwards Enterprise One.
• 3+ years of JD Edwards implementation or upgrade experience.
• 3 + years of business analysis experience.
• Functional knowledge of JD Edwards Sales, Procurement, Shop Floor Management, OTC, PTP and EDI.
• In Depth knowledge of Manufacturing including Shop Floor, MRP, PDM
• Solid understanding of integration with JD Edwards Customer Service and Sales Order Entry, Inventory, Finance, and Procurement modules.
• In Depth knowledge of DMAAI’s particularly related to Inventory & Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience providing JD Edwards Manufacturing application training to end-users.
