IT/ERP/SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERT

Location: Wexford

Will have responsibility for managing the IT requirements of the organization, central to this is the management of the ERP system (Navision) to ensure that it is fully utilized within each function/department in the business for, planning and control requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop Navision ERP system in a complex business
• Be proactive in evaluating the business needs from an IT perspective
• Automate and accelerate existing manual processes to design driven routines whilst achieving efficiencies for the business
• Maintain the visual workflow of processes as they continue to evolve
• Modify current business processes to show areas of potential improvement to simplify internal processes whilst maintaining the integrity of business-critical requirements
• Regularly liaise with all functions to discuss their needs and see opportunities for increased efficiencies
• Ability to create and edit views, fields, charts, entities, dashboards, workflows, processes, security roles, and reports within Navision
• Be proactive in satisfying the organization’sinformation requirements including both functional and executive reporting.
• Ability to use various reporting tools and particularly Jet Reports and Power BI.
• Management of IT infrastructure, including Navision, LAN, and Communications.
• Be the main point of contact for the external hardware supplier for remote access, systems security backups, and disaster recovery plans.
• Become involved and drive other IT projects such as Time and Attendance System development
• Meet IT training requirements for all staff and provide guidance and critically assess existing processes with a questioning mindset
• Research and estimate IT-related activities and provide cost/benefit analysis for required spend
• Ability to test and modify system developments to ensure they operate correctly and be company Super User.
• Ability to project manage – develop, execute and close out project plans and manage corresponding budgets.
• The person will be key for future Navision upgrades.
• Able to identify and foresee the IT needs of theorganization going forward.
• Maintain the relationship with our Microsoft Dynamics partner and liaise with them for more comprehensive projects outside the in-house scope

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science and/or Business Information Systems
• Analytical Mindset – expect someone to look for ways to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of their work
• Results Driven – asense of urgency who gets projects past the finish line
• Detail Orientated – the person must plan thoughtfully and think a number of steps ahead
• Knowledge of ERP functional modules and systems isa requirement.
• Experience in SQL server and ability to code in SQL.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €49,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
