Job Summary

The IT Governance Analyst (ITGA) will report directly to the Director of IT Governance and will be responsible for the coordination of all ITS Processes, Policies and Procedures, ITS financial reporting, budget analysis and procurement, and Professional Development of ITS team members. This position will serve as the ITS Change Management Process Administrator for the Change Advisory Board, Subject Matter Expert for IT procurement and financial management and oversight for all professional development, including training, certifications, memberships, conferences, etc.


Essential Duties

  • Oversee all ITS and ITG policies, procedures and processes including periodic reviews, revisions and additions
  • Manage the IT procurement process and ensure spending adheres to budget availability, procurement policies and procedures
  • Review, maintain, and update the ITG Collaboration Site as needed
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all ITS procurement and sourcing of assets, expendables, and professional development items
  • Fulfill hardware procurement requests from internal customers through the use of various asset tracking and purchasing tools.
  • Track operational spend and create financial reports, monitor and report any variances to budget for all IT cost centers
  • Develop a detailed understanding of operational spend to support IT budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Work closely with the Director of IT Governance to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
  • Develop IT spend reports to support Vendor Relationship Management
  • Participate in the Vendor SOC Reviews by being the shepherd of the CUEC (Complementary User Entity Controls) process.
  • Oversee Vendor certification requirements in partnership with the Vendor Risk team – both annually for renewals and as needed for new IT vendors
  • Coordinate all aspects of IT vendor relationship management including contracts, statements of work, warranties and maintenance/support agreements.
  • Oversee and manage ITS training plans, including the budget vs. actual for spending, training logistics for team members, administration of resource requests and timing to balance calendar impacts and minimize service disruptions
  • ITS team members are encouraged to track their professional development through the BAI learning tool. ITGA will work with team members to encourage transcript updates and provide management reports as needed, and provide a report for recognition in the All Hands meetings.
  • Strategic IT vendors may require minimum certifications of FMB team members. ITGA will work with vendors to understand the requirements, develop and document ITS team member adherence to those requirements
  • Will be trained and become certified in the latest version of ITIL Foundation.
  • Identify areas for personal professional development and seek assistance with training, certifications, networking, etc. to support career advancement
  • As part of the IT Governance Team, the ITGA will serve as the backup for the IT Communications and Facilities Manager when absent from their duties.


Complies with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, Anti-Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements. This position will elevate suspicious activity to supervisory staff and/or BSA department. Completes compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned.


Required Knowledge

  • Hands on experience with overseeing and managing IT policies, procedures and processes
  • Working knowledge of IT Service and Asset Management processes, reporting and measurement
  • Budget administration for Vendor spend and professional development

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
  • Obtain most recent version of ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experienced in Budgeting and Accounting

  • Ability to work extended hours, weekend, and/or holidays.
