IT ENGINEER - INFRASTRUCTURE

SUMMARY
The IT Engineer-Infrastructure is responsible to administrator, maintain and monitor various hardware, operating systems and infrastructure as Server/Storages/Network/Database. And providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This includes, but is not limited to, providing Help Desk support, setup, installation and upgrade of equipment and software. Will troubleshoot hardware, software and network connectivity problems in a timely and efficient manner. Leading and managing helpdesk members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deploys, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs IT assets including desktop computer systems and peripherals, software applications, laptops, printers, tablets, smartphones, etc.
- Provides Help Desk support to all MS Windows users related to hardware, software, and network connectivity issues; diagnosing, testing, and repair of hardware and software issues.
- Infrastructure (Servers/Network/Database) diagnosis of trouble and taking actions to resolve the issues.
- Monitoring and taking actions to resolve the issues about communication between MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and Equipment.
- Receives and documents all user support requests in designated Help Desk work order system; Maintains communication with end-users and supervisor regarding work order activity; Updates/closes work orders in a timely manner.
- Escalates technical support issues to appropriate technical staff as needed.
- Deliver support and training to end users in the organization on the use of technology resources.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the Information Technology asset database and the Helpdesk work order system.
- Supervising about lined and wireless Network construction
- Managing IT Server rooms and devices
- Managing IT devices as PC, monitors, scanners, printers and so on
- Managing OA devices as telephones, composite instruments, projector, conference call device and so on
- Managing phone numbers and telephone equipment
- Operating systems: management for performance, capacity, fault, changes, configurations and backup
- Servers and Network Security management: Establishing security guide and applying security policy
- Database fault management, and patching
- New database installation and patching
- Establishing IT infrastructure strategy
- Co-working with counterparts and managing global/local vendors
- Prepares and maintain IT Infrastructure documentation, statistics, and reports.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University or post graduate degree in computer science related
- 3Years+ Field experiences
- 3Years+ Experience with Network and Firewall management
- Strong communication skills to be able to co-work with counterparts in Global/Asia Solutions team and manage local vendors.
- 3Years+ Windows server operation experiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Understanding of technology hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
- Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service
- Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
- Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Q Cells
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with MS SQL (2014/2016) management
- Experience with Network and Security (FW/IPS/DDos/VPN) management
- Experience with Fortinet or Extreme devices management
- Experience with an enterprise desktop management system (SCCM or JAMF Casper Suite) and/or experience supporting enterprise systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Cisco telephony, VMware and Data Backup
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting; simple repairs; web/desktop publishing; smartphones; network printing; viruses/spyware; wireless; IP; and telephony systems, all beneficial
- Certification in MCSE, CCNP, CCIE, related Database and Security
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail
