About the Company

My client, a leading Non-profit organization, performs very important work across the country and in the heart of local communities providing services and support for the needs of all people within their community as well as their carers. They now require an IT Manager with strong salesforce admin skills to drive forward the IT strategy.

About the Position

The IT Manager will drive the IT strategy, oversee and coordinate the operational IT requirements of the organisation and will be responsible for all IT practices and processes whilst also holding responsibility for maintaining high performance of the organisation's infrastructure.

The IT Manager will oversee all IT functions of the organisation and must align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals. The IT Manager must be capable of evaluating risk, have a well-honed understating if cybersecurity and develop network recovery and backup processes.

Key Responsibilities

Be a key stakeholder and functional influencer of any business or organisational transformation processes.
Ensure that systems /IT frameworks and structures support the organisational strategy
Managing the internal helpdesk ensuring 3000+ IT Tickets per annum are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.
Supporting, maintaining & troubleshooting devices (PCs, Laptops, Printers, Tablets) which are spread across 50+ premises or used by remote workers throughout Ireland.
Responsibility for maintaining 5 servers.
Manage and evolve the team in line with changing technologies, services and work practices.
The IT Manager will oversee all development on Salesforce which is our primary CRM.
Driving accurate data quality and data capture across our systems and tooling.
Providing support to team and/or users for Salesforce or IT related queries

Experience/Requirements

3+ years managing IT dept of a multisite organisation (50+ locations)
8+ years working in IT
CompTIA A+ or MCSA Certified
3+ years managing large Salesforce environment
Experience in developing cross functional objects incl fields, record types, lookups
Experience working with cloud storage solutions
Full clean drivers licence is essential as travel will be required
Experience delivering user training
Experience of strategic IT projects
Full understanding of current Cybersecurity threats and appropriate responses and defences required. Proven track record of leading projects from concept to full delivery
