Summary of Position
Reporting to the CTO and based in St. Louis, MO, the IT Manager will be responsible for management and hands-on execution of IT operations for Pacesetter Health headquarters in St. Louis and clinical locations across the country.
Reporting to the CTO and based in St. Louis, MO, the IT Manager will be responsible for management and hands-on execution of IT operations for Pacesetter Health headquarters in St. Louis and clinical locations across the country.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist IT service desk technicians; serve as escalation point for advanced issues
- Implement transition plans to migrate newly acquired practices’ IT systems into corporate IT structure
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts & pricing
- Assist CTO with other tasks as necessary
- Position is in office with some travel required (< 20% of time) to our operating markets
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years of progressive IT industry experience required
- At least 1 year of IT management experience preferred
- Strong technical competence, particularly in the areas of:
- TCP/IP networking
- VOIP telephony
- Microsoft 365 administration
- End-user desktop support (primarily Windows 10)
- Network security (e.g., firewall administration)
- Microsoft Azure cloud administration
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in general problem solving with a first principles approach
- Self-starter, highly motivated; ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field from an accredited university
